Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Vizuara Books is operated by Vizuara AI Labs (referred to below as "Vizuara", "we", "us"). The service lives at books.vizuara.ai. You can reach us any time at team@vizuara.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. The service

Vizuara Books is a digital subscription library of illustrated technical books. A subscription gives you access to read every book in the library for as long as your subscription is active. You sign in with a Google account or an email address; accounts are managed through Firebase.

3. Plans and pricing

We currently offer the following plans, billed in US dollars through Razorpay, our payment provider:

• Monthly: $49 per month.
• Annual: $399 per year.
• Team: $1,995 per year for up to 10 seats.
• Founding member: $299 per year, limited to the first 500 members or the published deadline, whichever comes first; this rate is retained on renewal while the subscription stays active.

A selection of foundational books is free to read without a subscription, and every other book includes a free preview chapter. Reading a paid book in full, beyond its preview, requires an active subscription.

4. Billing, renewal, and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, depending on your plan) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep access until then, and you are not charged again.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Prices may change; if they do for a plan you are subscribed to, we will give you notice before the new price applies to your next renewal.

5. Your license to the content

The books, figures, and other content in the library are licensed to you, not sold. While your subscription is active, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read the content for your own use. Team plan seats are for the individual people they are assigned to.

You may not redistribute, republish, resell, scrape, or share the content outside the service, and you may not share your account credentials with others. All rights in the content remain with Vizuara AI Labs and its licensors.

6. Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and in good faith. In particular, do not:

• attempt to bypass the paywall or access controls;
• use automated tools to copy or download the library;
• interfere with the operation or security of the service;
• post abusive or unlawful material in reviews or comments.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules. If we terminate your account for a breach, no refund is owed for the remainder of the period.

7. Changes to the library and the service

The library is a living collection. We add books and chapters regularly, and we may occasionally revise, replace, or retire titles. We may also change or improve features of the reader. If we make a change that materially reduces what your subscription includes, we will give you notice.

8. Accounts

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Tell us promptly at team@vizuara.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service and its content are provided "as is". The books are educational material; we work hard on their accuracy, but we do not warrant that they are error-free or fit for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will notify you by email or in the product. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
